The Mission

Clearing-House Mechanism (CHM) of Convention on Biological Diversity has been declared on article 18.3 and Conference of Parties decision number X/15, that CHM mission is to contribute significantly toward Convention on Biological Diversity implementation and Biodiversity Strategy Plan 2011 – 2020. Those contributions implemented through the effective information services and other sources that suits to promote and facilitate the scientific and technical collaboration, sharing knowledge and information exchange, and to establish the operational network of Parties and partners.

The mission has been articulate on three main goals:

1. International CHM deliver the effective global information services to facilitate the implementation of Biodiversity Strategic Plan 2011 – 2020.
2. National Clearing-House provide the effective information services to facilitate the implementation of National Biodiversity Strategic and Action Plan.
3. Partners significantly expanding network and clearing-house services.
