Global Strategic Action Plan 2011-2020

Convention on Biological Diversity known as Convention on Biodiversity is the legally binding international agreement adopted in Rio de Janeiro on June 1992, inspired by the growing commitment of international society toward sustainable development. This is describing the dramatically step forward on biodiversity conservation.

On the Decision X/2, 10th Conference of Parties, from 18 – 29 October 2010 in Nagoya, Prefektur Aichi Japan, adopted the revised of Strategic Plan on Biodiversity, including Aichi Target on Biodiversity period of 2011 – 2020.
This strategic plan has given a comprehensive framework that is not only for the convention related to biodiversity but toward the whole system of the United Nation and all partners that involved in biodiversity management and decision-making.
Partners agree to translate the comprehensive international framework into the national strategic and action plan of biodiversity within two years.

Furthermore, in the Decision X/10, the Parties Conference decided that National Report must focus on the implementation of Strategic Plan 2011-2020 and the development achieved toward Aichi Target
